Lists at the ready, Father Christmas will be visiting us again this Thursday in his grotto at nursery. He will be with us from 9.30am - 4.00pm, so don't miss out.
As usual, we will be hosting our annual carol concert this Wednesday at nursery. It will start at 5pm and take place outside.
It will soon be time to celebrate by dressing up and looking scary! On the 30th October we will be having a FANG-tastic Halloween party. There will be a prize for best dress in each room and he children will enjoy party games and activities throughout the day. Check out this post for some costume inspiration.
On the last Wednesday of every month we will be choosing a different country and throughout the day the children will be having snacks and tea which are typically from that country. The first one is France on Wednesday 28th October.
You may be aware that some of our Practitioners, including Team Leaders are expecting their own babies at the end of this year and we are currently undergoing a recruitment programme to take on qualified, experienced members of staff to replace them. Angela, Jade, Jess, Nicola and Alice are all expecting their own little bundles of fun!
There has been a serious road traffic accident in Grimsargh today and it is affecting the road networks close to the nursery. Police have closed the B6243 Longridge Road/Preston Road. There is heavy traffic in both directions between Whittigham Lane junction and the B6242 junction, because of accident investigation work.
Just following on from that, we would now like to confirm the date of our Graduation Party, which we will be hosting for all our pre-school leavers.
It has come to that time of the year where we would like to invite parents to a Parent's Evening to discuss their child’s development within nursery.
By now, you should have all met our new manager Kirsty Kenny who joined us 4 weeks ago to fill the role of nursery manager at Little Rascals. However, you probably haven't had chance to get to know her very well.
We were last inspected in April 2019 and maintained ‘Good’, which is excellent news for us.
